earl, if i am not mistaken, the temple beside hong leong bank is called “see yeh miu” in cantonese. ny former landlady used to go and pray at both these temples, and she always called the one in ptg st guan di, and the one beside hong leong see yeh.

Yea, this is a Guan Di temple, and it’s only slightly opposite of Public Bank, also somewhat opposite of the Sri Mariamman temple. I always go to this Guan Di temple to pray for my health and studies (as I’m still a student, you see), not to mention “kao chim” (ask for guidance). And what makes me so attracted to this temple is that all of my prayers are realised and I can always feel that Guan Di is communicating with me. If you observe the Guan Di statue closely, you’ll notice that he’s smiling! :D
