The batch graduate of 1968 visited our alma mater on 18 Feb 2008. Tks to Mdm Koh, the Principal who took time to open up the school for us. Well, on reflection perhaps someone out there can do something to raise funds to upgrade some very rundown facilities....a small project for us. A great school and things are almost the same… the chairs , the tables , the canteen , the corridors… it was just down memory lane for the group of us . I always go to this Guan Di temple to pray for my health and studies (as I'm still a student, you see), not to mention "kao chim" (ask for guidance). And what makes me so attracted to this temple is that all of my prayers are realised and I can always feel that Guan Di is communicating with me. Been there frm Std 1 to Frm 5. Never could find the right words to say about SMI. You have to be a student there to know and feel the experience. Years after i have left ..... Still the memories shines like a beacon. Call it anything you want, but it was truly my life's most cherished moments .... guess it's likewise for other brothers of SMI, irrelevant of race. We were united. We'll all be...forever.. wherever we are. Proud, we are of our REAL HERITAGE!!! Thank you for the memories...Thank you Dear Teachers, Friends and Brothers.
